Founded in Amsterdam in 1970 by Erik Padt as an international
business development and management consultancy, it has operated since that
time throughout Europe and in North America; under Erik’s guidance
until the late 80’s, then under Padraig O’Curry who expanded
the firm’s international role.

The Principals in the firm have accumulated
substantial experience in general management, international business
development, marketing & communications and human research
consultancy.

are a small team who share the same high standards.

accept only assignments for which we are confident we can identify
excellent candidates for whom the appointment would be appropriate and, therefore,
assignments we are confident of completing successfully. We always
undertake assignments based on a need identified with our clients and not
on any speculative approaches.

limit our work in any one sector so as to be free to search widely without
"off-limits" and avoiding possible conflicts of interest. The
partner who takes the brief also manages the search assignment throughout,
interviews candidates and shortlists those most appropriate to the client's
